Restoration

Restoration is a collection of animals reborn from used leather clothes. A life spent as human clothing has left its mark and this rebirth is not perfect. The animal that emerges is a freak and an oddity.

Restoration was my final project at art school, and through it I discovered my own technique and my interest in leather. I wanted to say: remember that leather is an animal’s skin. Remember that the natural resource you use is always taken from someone.
