The creatures are sleeping in the Day Tree.

The work has been hung in trees and has spent several summers at various locations: Honkahovi in Mänttä, Retretti in Punkaharju, Finlayson Area in Tampere, Voipaala Art Center, and Villa Roosa in Orimattila. During the summer, wasps and other buzzing insects take up residence in the work.

If you look closely, you can make out details in the sleepers.
